It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betsy Moore Gaskins of Chocowinity, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on July 11, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley Moore and Lydia Hill Moore; and her husband Elbert Brown Gaskins. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Sullivan (Ward) of Chocowinity, NC, Kay Edwards (Jerry) of Vanceboro, NC and Kenny Gaskins (Crystal) of Chocowinity, NC. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
