With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Lee West (Chinquapin, North Carolina), who passed away on December 16, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mansfield Ready and Elnora Pickett; her siblings, Doris Brown and Mansfield Ready Jr. Remaining; her daughter Portia L. Finch of Chinquapin, NC; her grandchildren, Nefertera T. Marshall (Coron) and Pastor Jamison D. Johnson; her great grandchildren, Knyia T. McClean, Charlotte and JaSean McLean of Fairfax, VA; and her nephews, Larry Brown of Castro Valley, CA and Skip Brown of Sacramento, CA.

This early childhood movement laid the foundation for her future travels.
