He is survived by: his wife Janet Price Sterling of Chinquapin; his children, Peter Dwayne Sterling, Jr. (Trina) of Sylvania, GA, Jamie Brown (Sharon) of Chinquapin, Tate Jenkins of Chinquapin, Tasha Sterling of Sylvania, GA, Amanda Elizabeth Lambert (David) of Pollocksville and Katie Marie Gillespie (Kenneth) of Pollocksville; and his brother George Sterling. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
