He was predeceased by: his father Donald Ray Sholar; his grandparents, William F., Nelma C. Gray, Elwood Anthon and Pennie Mae Sholar; and his uncles, George E. Sholar, Craig B. Gray and F. Windell Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Holly Sholar; his son Dalton Ray Sholar of Chinquapin; his siblings, Anthony Sholar (Derek) of Mint Hill, NC, Donnie Sholar (Jennessa) of Chinquapin and Madison Gray of Ketchum, OK; his niece Destinee Heath; his nephew Decatur Ray Sholar; his pets, Ranger, Brendy and Bruiser; and his friend Mickey.
