She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Gurganus and Bertha Gurganus. She is survived by: her sons, Jarvis Edward Brown Jr. (Millie), Boyd Lane Brown (Donna) and Floyd Lee Brown; her siblings, Ann Howard, Van Gurganus and Bobby Gurganus; and her grandchildren, Melissa Nason, Eric Brown, Ashley Brown, Joshua Brown, Lauren Brown and Chase Brown. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
