He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Calvin Pennington and Carrie Coe Pennington; his daughter Summer Noel Pennington; and his sisters, Carolyn P. Sexton and Sonja P. Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Pennington (Wayne), Kelly Cherice Pennington and Heather Lynnette Tasker; his grandchildren, Kyle Pennington (Taylor), Tyler Pennington (Maddie) and Austin Pennington; his great grandchildren, Jayce Tyler and Ayden Brooks; and his brother-in-law Ray Sexton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
