He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond and Louise Lipe Elliott; his wife Lois F. Elliott; his son George Ray Elliott; and his sister Mamie E. Brown Moss.
He is survived by: his brothers, Carl William (Mrytle) and Hubert Lee Elliott (Hazel) of China Grove; his grandsons, James Kyle Donahue (Ashley) of Mint Hill and Brenton Elliott Donahue (Keely) of China Grove; his great grandchildren, Kaison James, Kinley Joyce Donahue of China Grove, Savannah Ray and Grady Beau Donahue of Mint Hill; his brother Billy Wayne Elliott (Lyndia) of China Grove; and his caregivers, Doris Ingram, Kay Nelson, Elaine Carson-Metcalf, Raine Patterson and Teresa Rolle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
