He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Willis" Moore and Mary Starnes Moore; his wife Hazel Lee Moore; and his siblings, Lee Roy, Carson, Eugene Moore and Peggy Christenbury.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Moore (Shari) and Lynn Moore (Margie); his siblings, Don Moore, Grady Moore (Jo), Walter Moore (Janice), Marcine Miller and Mary "Lib" Alexander; his grandchildren, Erin Moore (Ricky), Rebekah Sloop (Ronald), Daniel and Stacy; and his great grandchild Kaylee Sloop. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
