She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Flake and Betty Ligon Milholen; her husband Gaither B. Kluttz, Jr.; her grandson Ragan Kluttz; her son-in-law Rick Walters; and her siblings, Charles, David Milholen, Gladys Lowder and Lois Smith.

She is survived by: her pets, Mayday, Boggie and Fluffel; her children, Gaither Kluttz (Sherry) and Ann Goodnight (David) of China Grove; and her sister-in-law Catherine Milholen of Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
