She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Tutherow and Edna Reynolds Tutherow; her husband Coin Albert Hames; her sons, Alvin Hames and Robert Hames; and her sister Margaret Basinger.

She is survived by: her siblings, Paul Tutherow, Clifford Tutherow, Delores Faggart and Pauline Tutherow; and her children, Loyd Albert Hames of Granite Falls, Hugh "P. O." and Pat Cohee of Hudson. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
