It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodger Dennis Carpenter of China Grove, North Carolina, born in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Carpenter and Helen Calkin Carpenter; and his siblings, James Carpenter, Gwendolyn McKee, Betty Di Luzio and Vivian Westbrook.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Corriher Carpenter; his siblings, Ken Carpenter, Larry Carpenter, Terry Carpenter, Shelby Carpenter and Janice Convertino; his children, Scott Michael Carpenter and Robyn Glidden; his grandchildren, Tyler Carpenter, Lindsey Glidden, Tiffany Overcash, Heather Cox, Aaron, Molly, Brandon Yow, Brinley and Zoe Carpenter; and his great grandchildren, Abbie, Lydia Carter, Noah Overcash, Josh and Tessa Barringer.
