He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Rushing and Janie Lou Stirewalt Rushing. He is survived by: his uncle Bill Earl Stirewalt; his cousins, Janice Hunt, Larry Jones, Johnsie Wilhoit, Gwyn Brantley, Rita Teal, Darlene Goodson and Donna Oehler; and his pets, Victor and Chase.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home (1420 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Northcrest Chapel of the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Rowan County Animal Shelter 160 Adoption Way, Salisbury, NC 28146.
