She was predeceased by: her father Leon Sweatt. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Goodnight Sweatt; her husband Elmer "Spanky" Shepherd; her daughter Laura Shepherd; her siblings, Kathy Pence (Randy), Debbie Johnson (Michael) and Mark Sweatt (Tracey); and her grandchildren, Maxwell and Olyvia Brown.
