She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Henley and Fannie Kepley Henley; her husband Howard Jacob Michael; her children, Richard Michael and Margaret Michael; her son-in-law Thomas Sinclair; and her brother-in-law Joel Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, James Howard Michael (Linda) of Archdale, Marshall Clinton Michael (LouAnn) of Lexington, Martha N. Michael of China Grove and Geneva Sinclair of Salisbury; and her siblings, Coleen Henley Thompson and Carlee J. Henley. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
