She was predeceased by: her parents, John Caleb and Lottie Sloop Goodman; her husbands, Homer Caldwell Overcash and Wade Jasper Overcash; her son Roger Wade Overcash; her grandson Kurtis Bentley; and her siblings, Carl Goodman, Elmer Goodman, Walter Goodman, Dorothy Weddington, Gladys Weddington and Margaret Cress.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Overcash (Ginger), Steve Overcash and Karen Overcash Freeze (Jeff); her sister Ola Mae Harrison; her grandchildren, Rusty Ritchie (Holly Helton), Justin Quantz (Jenny), Elizabeth Freeze, Amanda Carter (Cory), Andrea Hafner (Zack), Brittany Dunham (Shane) and Ashley Overcash; and her great grandchildren, Emmaleigh, McKenna, Brianna, Remy, Nora, Stella, Alice, Maximus, Alexander, Faelyn, Jasper, Nehemiah and Ameliah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church (750 Mt Moriah Church Rd, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sanctuary.
