He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Steele and Ruby Hedrick Steele; and his siblings, Donald Ray Steele and Bobbie Goodnight. He is survived by: his children, Michael DeWayne Steele, II, Kevin Steele (Amy), Kelly Lipscomb (Chris) and Melissa Steele; and his sister Pat Payne. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
