It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Houchin of China Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Walkup and Cora Lee Long Walkup; her husband Robert Houchin; and her grandchildren, Christopher Jones and Alyssa Houchin.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Houchin, BJ Barnette and Raymond Houchin; and her grandchildren, Greg Jones, Brina Powers, Kayla Bowers, Heather Hutchins, Cody Guiton, CJ Houchin, Kenneth Houchin and Arya Powers.
