She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude William Almond and Juanita Catherine Almond; and her siblings, W. C. Almond, Larry Ray Almond, Wade Almond, Gary Almond and Edith Grant.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis J. Lambert (Susanne) of Albemarle, NC, Roy Lee Lambert of China Grove, NC and Robbie M. Bennett of Salisbury, NC; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Lambert, Jennifer Stencil, Christin Richardson and Gary Lee Lambert. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great- great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle (522 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Smith Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (25711 Old School Rd, Oakboro, NC 28129).
