It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lou Griggs of China Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Henderson and Ruth Dulin Henderson; and her daughter Tina Benfield. She is survived by: her husband J. W. Griggs Sr.; her children, J. W. Griggs Jr. (Patricia), Gary Benfield, Jerry Griggs (Melinda) and Terri Griggs (Chip Meckes); her siblings, Don Henderson, Pam Aragon and Gail Lemmond; her grandchildren, Jessica Griggs, A. J. Jenkins, Jerry Griggs Jr. Cody Griggs, Miley Griggs, Wesley Meckes, Hailey Meckes, Caitlyn O'Neal and Christopher O'Neal; and her great grandchildren, Gracie Beaver and Amberlynn Stirewalt.
