She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack G. Waters and Regina Little Waters. She is survived by: her husband John H. Rooney; her daughters, Bridget Elizabeth Rooney of China Grove and Ashley Dawn Rooney of China Grove; and her siblings, David, Janet, Marjory, Graham, Jennifer and Valerie.
