He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Eugene McDaniels and Barbara Jean Carter McDaniels. He is survived by: his brothers, Douglas McDaniels (Myra) and Michael McDaniels (Teresa); his nieces and nephews, Jessie McDaniels, Patrick McDaniels, Christina Cook and Michelle McDaniels; his stepsons, Billy Joe Smith and Jimmy Lee Childress; and his friend Ruby Randall. He is also survived by eleven great-nephews and great-nieces.
