He was predeceased by: his parents, Shellie B. Karriker and Katie Bost Karriker; and his siblings, Evelyn Ennis, Virginia Sloop, Hugh Brown Karriker, Paul Leonard Karriker and Charles Karriker.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bost Karriker; his children, Ferman Karriker (Barbara), Johnny Karriker (Renae), Vinnie Karriker Duncan (Philip) and Katrina Karriker Brown (Tony); and his brother Dale Karriker. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
