She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Adam Shepherd and Mae Lynch Shepherd; her husband Tommy Robert Sloop; her son Robert Lee Sloop; and her siblings, Pat Childress and Gene Shepherd.

She is survived by: her children, Tommy Dale Sloop, Anna Marie Martin and Tammie Verline Brown. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as 1 niece and 2 nephews.
