It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Shankle of China Grove, North Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mauldin and Essie Lee Taylor; and her children, Haywood Shankle, Hoyle Michael Shankle and Gloria Jean Symonette.
She is survived by: her children, Ernestine Shankle Martin (Craig) of Boonville, NC, Wildon Vernard Shankle (Nora) of Salisbury and John William Shankle (Gina) of Kernersville, NC. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
Due to Covid-19 Mask must be worn to all services. Due to the pandemic tomorrows service will be small and they will have a Memorial Service at a later date and they will receive family and friends at the home.
