She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Key and Alice Brown; and her husband James Junior Nance. She is survived by: her children, James Ronald Nance (Sheila) and Pamela Siege (Geoff) of China Grove; her grandchildren, Wendy Hartsell (Tim), Aaron Nance (Ethne), Ben Siege (Donna) and Cassie Buckwalter (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Kate Hartsell, Garrett Williams, Dylan Nance, Logan Nance, Reagan Siege, Gunnar Siege, Essie Buckwalter and Millie Buckwalter.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the Tucker Hospice, 5005 Hospice Ln, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
