George Gray Jacobs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Gray Jacobs of China Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie B. Jacobs and Ethel Bringle Jacobs; and his wife Frances Readling Jacobs of Virginia. He is survived by: his children, Steven Gray Jacobs (Wanda) of Woodleaf and Angela Jacobs Miller of China Grove; his brother Charlie B. Jacobs, Jr. (Sybil) of Landis; his granddaughters, Kristy M. Caldwell, Brittany Beaver (Devin) and Kristina Smith; and his great grandchildren, Mason Gray Beaver, Ryan Keith Beaver, Walker Layburn and Austin Caldwell.

Memorial donations may be made to the Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard or to the First United Methodist Church of China Grove, NC.
