We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2022, at the age of 80, Ernest DeWitt Johnston III of China Grove, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Johnston and Ernest D. Johnston, Jr.; and his sister Carol J. Howard. He is survived by: his girlfriend Frances L. Cook; his children, April Johnston of Richmond, VA, Shawn R. Johnston of Troy, OH and Ernest D. Johnston, IV of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Travis, Raymond, Fantasia and Gage; and his pet Bootsie.
