He was predeceased by: his parents, Guss R. Cole and Mozelle Brindle Cole; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Beaver Cole; his children, Angela C. Hensley, Lori C. Hough (Gary) and Monty Cole of China Grove; and his sisters, Georgia Hudson of Kannapolis, Ramell McGuire (Dene) of Kannapolis and Patsy Summerour of Huntersville.
