She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lyle and Edna Gladys Wycoff McIntyre; her husband Jesse Thomas "Sonny" Martin; her son Danny Thomas Jenkins; her niece Sherry Jean McIntyre; and her great-niece Christina Suzanne McIntyre Affolter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelby Juhaish of Kannapolis, NC, Sue Bachman of Ohio and Cindy Kirkman of Asheville, NC; her sister Carolyn McIntyre of China Grove, NC; her niece Melissa Graham; her great-niece Stacy Boone Freyer (Matthew Freyer); and also Alexa Freyer. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and nieces.
