He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Sain (Will) of Concord; his brother Elvin Lackey (Mitzi) of Mooresville; his children, Kelly and John Poteat of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, Jordan Poteat, Luna and Stella Poteat; and his pet Littlebit. He is also survived by kids as his grandkids and great grandkids.
