He is survived by: his wife Mildred Truesdale Smith; his children, Pamela Witherspoon (Anthony) of Portsmouth, VA, Tamara Dunlap (Timothy) of China Grove, NC, Dempsey Todd Smith (Mary Beth) of Statesville, NC and Scott Lewis Smith (Twanna) of Davidson, NC; and his siblings, Patricia Reid of Kannapolis, Denise Holmes (Oliver) of Bridgeport, CT, Betty Stocks (Terrence) of Concord, Robert Miller (Gladys) of San Diego, CA and R. Ronte Smith of Johns Creek, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
