He was predeceased by: his father David B. Watkins, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Emily Broome Watkins of Harrisburg, NC; his daughters, LeAnne Watkins of Harrisburg, NC and Hailey Watkins of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his brother Joe Watkins of Midland.

He was part of a large biker community and participated in many charity rides and benefits.
