She was predeceased by: her parents, Beauford Mabe and Vinnia Bearden Mabe; and her husband Randy Barker. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Menius (Dustin) of China Grove, NC; her siblings, Darlene Barger (Ken) of Bristol, VA and Harvey Mabe (Lorraine) of Lakeland, FL; and her grandchildren, Dane Hunneycutt (McKenzie) of Linwood, NC and Hannah Menius of China Grove, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ivanhoe Pentecostal Holiness Church (787 Painters Hill Rd, Ivanhoe, VA 24350). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
