With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettye Lee Browne of China Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Felton Wilson and Dellaree Thompson Wilson; her husband Jackson A. Browne; and her brother Robert Ferman Wilson. She is survived by: her sons, Darwin Stewart of Landis, NC, Warren Stewart (Mary) of Concord, NC, Gregory Stewart (Jo) of Kannapolis, NC and Wayne Stewart of Landis, NC; and her siblings, Paul Wilson (Carol) of Landis, NC, Evelyn Wilson of Kannapolis, NC and Joyce Townes (Edward Townes) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
