She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Andrew Theodore Bingham and Ethel Mae Ward Bingham; her husband William "Bill" Reece Helms, Sr.; her children, William Helms, Jr., Jan Helms and Teresa Helms; and her brother Willard Bingham.
She is survived by: her grandson Alan Dedmon; her great grandchildren, Alec and Gavin Dedmon; and her sisters, Irene Gamble of Fallston and Ellen Mull of Fallston.
