He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Alton "Tunney" Porter and Mildred Lee Helms Porter; his wife Vickie Elaine Clawson Porter; and his sister Cathy Brown. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Porter Snipes (Josh) and Amanda Porter Aldridge (Chris); his stepson Tyler Leonhardt (Cortney Bowker); his grandchildren, Emma Snipes and Porter Aldridge; and his sister Sylvia Blackmon.
