It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Lail Slaughter (Cherryville, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2018, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cramer "Buddy" Slaughter; and her siblings, Roy Lail, Shirley Brittain, Mary Mauldin, Annie Rash and Faye Kirkpatrick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee McNeilly (Clint) of Shelby and Amy Slaughter of Cherryville; her grandson Casey McNeilly (Kimberly); her great grandchild Elisa Renee McNeilly; her wife Carolyn of Cherryville; and her sister Peggy Owens of High Point.
