He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Ray Beam and Mae Sorrels Beam; his brother Rev. Keith Beam; and his niece Noel Beam Howard. He is survived by: his wife Sue Helms Beam; his daughters, Tammy Beam Knowles (David) and Teddi Beam Stepp (Jeff); his grandchildren, Allison Knowles McInnis (Sam) and Lukas Knowles; his nephew Mark Beam (Johnnie); and his niece Lucy Beam Hoffman (Jeff).
