With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Nolen of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sue Nolen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Nolen; her parents, June Yancey and Pearl Yancey; and her sister Opal Yancey Eckard. She is survived by: her grandchildren, John McGinnis (Tarin), Valerie (Amy McGinnis), Grayson (Katie Nolen), Mary Kate, Meredith and Meghan (Amelia Bobbitt); her great grandchildren, Cameron, Conor, Zeke and Elliot; her niece Elaine Hall (Gordon); and her nephews, Bruce Eckard (Julie) and Chris Eckard (Denise). She is also survived by three children, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandsons.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face coverings will be required.
