It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Morris of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in New York, New York, who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Morris and Ruth Hillerman Morris; and his brother Bruce Morris. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Smith Morris; his daughters, Wendy McLeymore (Jeff) of Cherryville and Lori Isreal (Tony) of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Kallie Frazier (Ethan), Cassie Isreal (Jacob Carpenter) and Daulton Isreal (Brittany Utley); his great grandchild Brexton Utley; and his siblings, David Morris, Burge Morris, Terry Morris, Gene Morris, Chris Morris, Jackie Bailey, Kenna Pettijohn, Katie Snodgrass, Barbara Troyer and Sharon Bennett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
