He is survived by: his girlfriend Gertrude Jeanette Canipe; his son Charles Canipe (Lisa); his grandchildren, Matt Canipe (Mary) and Tracy Canipe; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Hailey, Makayla and Cory; and his close friends, Red and Don Blanton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
