He is survived by: his son Harley Whiddon (Maegan); his grandsons, Brody Carpenter of Cherryville, Talen of Cherryville and Nolan Whiddon of Cherryville; and his siblings, Brett Whiddon of Cherryville, Carolyn Hardage of Cherryville and Peggy Sue Lowery of Alabama.
