He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boyd Hamm and Edna Galloway Hamm; his friends, Ferguson Hardware and Lake James; his pets, Emilee and Syd (Cathey); his wife Cathey Lackey Hamm; his daughter Kara Denise Beasley (Philip) of Durham; his siblings, Ronald Hamm (Nancy) of Waccamaw, SC, Linda Witherspoon (Yates) of Cherryville, Janet Scarborough (David) of Avon and Thelda Hamm of Lincolnton; and his pet Archie. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
