She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl R. Hicks and Addie Chapman Hicks; her husband Dr. H. Floyd Wright; her son Jim Wright; her sister Ann Hicks Beam; and her nephew Michael Jarrett.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Alison Painter of Lake Norman and David Wright of Cherryville; her grandchildren, Tyler Wright (Parrish), Dr. Charlie Wright, Katie Henry (Drake), Drew Wright and McKinsey Wright; and her nephews, Blair Beam of Carolina Shores and Bruce Jarrett of Clemson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 606 Eaker Cir, Cherryville, NC 28021. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel (405 N Dixie St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
