Sam Beam Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Beam of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Homestead, Florida, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth McGinnis Beam; and his brothers, Chranson Beam (Peggy), Warren "Buddy" Beam and Byran Beam, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha McSwain Beam; his children, Tonya Beam Miller (Michael), Doree Beam Davis (Rodney), Loree Beam McCurry (Mark), David Hendrick (Brittany) of Cherryville and Daniel Hendrick (Cassie) of Cherryville; his siblings-in-law, Florence, Kay Beam, Margaret Sigmon (Richard), Phyllis McSwain and A. L. McSwain (Shirley); and his grandchildren, Abbey, Madelyn, Lilly Miller, Brock (Cole Davis), Matthew (Ruthie McCurry), Logan (Cade Hendrick) and Morgan (Hattie Jane Hendrick). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the future as pandemic restrictions are lifted.
