It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Ervin (Cherryville, North Carolina), born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ervin and Birdie Shaw Ervin; and his siblings, Deloise Sadler and Nathaniel Alexander Ervin. He is survived by: his sons, Reginald Sherrill of Gastonia and Jewell Patterson of Waco; his siblings, Elder Shirley Ervin Moore, Ollie Mae Curry, Eloise Ervin, Darlene Leach, Leon Ervin of New York City and Apostle Samuel Ervin, Jr. (Pecolia) of Lincolnton; and his cousins, Brenda Roberson and Janice Floyd of New York City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
