He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wise Davis; his children, Robert Wayne Davis II (Holly Rudisill) of Vale and Rebecca Upton of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Jacob Upton, Courtney Tonsing, Destiny Kowaleski, Luke Davis and Lillie Mae Davis; and his siblings, James Davis of Lincolnton and Christine Mosteller (Tim) of Lincolnton.
