With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Katz (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calvin Goins and Iva Lee Canipe Goins; and her brother Gerald "Motor" Goins. She is survived by: her husband Marc S. Katz; her siblings, Gordy Goins (Libby) of Newton, Johnny Lee Goins (Kelly) of Lincolnton, Keith Goins of Lincolnton, Jane Wright (Terry) of Vale, LeAnn Gilbert (Jerry) of Lincolnton, Beth Hallman of Lincolnton and Lisa Goins of Vale; and her sister-in-law Penny Goins of Vale. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
