Rick Craft Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Craft of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Rick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hudson Phillip Craft and Nellie Gertrude Morrow Craft; and his son Coley Phillip Craft. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Lowery Craft; his daughter Holly Alexander (Chris) of Indian Trail; his stepdaughter Francine Tackett of Statesville; and his sons, Bryan Craft (Danielle) of Cherryville and John Whitney Craft of Cherryville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
