He is survived by: his parents, Richard Alton Bowman (Shirley Blankenship) and Dorothy Ann Carey; his wife Melany Engle Bowman; his siblings, Ed Bowman (Felicia), Michael Bowman (Lori), Charles Webb (Cindy) and Sandy Dillingham (Larry); his mother-in-law Nancy Engle; his sister-in-law Jennifer Engle; his nieces and nephews, Brittany Bingham (Zach), Lauren Henderson (Mike), Mark Bowman, Jonathan Bowman, Natalie Ramsey (Josh), Chase Webb, Melissa Church, Megan Benfield and Mariah Smith; and his pets, Bob and Dixie. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
